Director of Development & Retention / Senior Financial Planner

Chris is Director of Development & Retention and a Senior Financial Planner at RTD Financial. Chris joined the firm in 2009 and became a shareholder in 2017. Chris is Chair of the firm’s Development & Retention Committee and leads the execution of the firm’s strategic vision for sustainable growth. Chris helps a diverse group of clients such as business owners, retirees, and young families. After learning about his clients and their needs, Chris helps them develop an action plan, providing clarity and confidence.

Chris studied through the College for Financial Planning, passing the CFP Board exam, earning the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM designation. Chris graduated from Temple University, summa cum laude, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in both Finance and Real Estate.

For the last several years, Chris was also an adjunct instructor at Temple University. Within Temple’s Fox School of Business, Chris taught the board-registered financial planning capstone course, having earned the Teaching Award for Excellence in the Classroom for his efforts helping students prepare for the board exam and their careers as financial planners. Within Temple’s General Education program, Chris also taught students the importance of personal finance and investing. Chris regularly guest lectures other courses and speaks at numerous financial planning-related events.

Chris is an active member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), Philadelphia Financial Planning Association (FPA), American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA), and the South Jersey Estate and Financial Planning Council. As a firm believer in holistic planning, Chris is passionate about empowering clients to reach their goals with confidence by coordinating all the important areas of their financial lives.

Chris resides in Marlton, New Jersey with his wife and son. They enjoy boating, swimming, good food, and most importantly, spending time with their family and their dog.
