Jane A. Rose, CPA/PFS

Jane A. Rose is Vice President Emerita of RTD Financial Advisors, Inc. and had been with the firm since 1989. A graduate of Rutgers University with an MBA from Temple University, Jane Rose is a CPA with more than 25 years of financial planning and management experience. She has been awarded the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation granted by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA); the PFS designation is held by less than one percent of CPAs nationally. As a corporate professional member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), she offers fee-only services. Also, she is a Certified Management Accountant and is listed in Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in Finance and Business, and Who’s Who of American Women.

Active in professional and community service organizations, Ms. Rose is a member of the AICPA, Personal Financial Planning Section member, American Woman’s Society of Certified Public Accountants (AWSCPA), New Jersey Society of CPAs (NJSCPA), American Society of Women Accountants (ASWA), and the Financial Planning Association (FPA). She is past president of the Board of Contact Community Helplines and currently serves as its treasurer. Also active with WOMEN’S WAY, she has been recently named Volunteer of the Month.

Ms. Rose has been the featured speaker on financial planning issues for many organizations including American Society of Women Accountants, West Jersey Health Foundation, College of Physicians, Immaculata College, Albert Einstein Health System, and the Girl Scouts Council. She has been interviewed and quoted by the Wall Street Journal, Money Magazine, the Philadelphia Inquirer, and the National Public Radio (NPR) radio programs “Marketplace” and “Morning Edition”.

As a former faculty member at Rutgers, Central Michigan, and Widener Universities, she enjoys translating complex financial concepts into understandable, down-to-earth solutions. She specializes in retirement planning and investment management for professionals, corporate executives, and affluent individuals.

Ms. Rose is the proud mother of three daughters, all of whom hold MBAs and two of whom are also CPAs. Even more importantly, they have given her five beautiful grandchildren, on whom she dotes. Her avocation is singing with various community choirs. In addition to participating year round with two groups, since 2007, she has appeared with Peter Nero and the Philly Pops in December’s Holiday Concerts at the Kimmel Center.
