Richard Durso is a Shareholder at RTD Financial, serving as Senior Planner and Director of Financial Planning.  Rich graduated from LaSalle College High School and St. Joseph’s University (BS in Business Management and MBA in Finance) and has earned CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM  (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and Accredited Estate Planner (AEP®) designations.  With more than 15 years of professional experience in financial planning and investment management, Rich ensures that family wealth and values are passed down to future generations through proper planning. His passion is to help remove the financial worry from his clients by developing and implementing a plan based on each client’s life goals.

Rich is a contributor to the Journal of Financial Planning and has been quoted by many financial publications including The Wall Street Journal, Kiplinger’s, Financial Planning Magazine, and MSN Money.  Awarded 2012 Financial Planning Association’s (FPA) President’s Award for outstanding leadership, Rich is past President and Chair of the Philadelphia Chapter of the FPA. He is an adjunct professor at Temple University and a current board member for the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Cancer Society.  Rich has been a speaker event such as the National FPA Retreat and the Private Wealth Forum. He is also a member of National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), Philadelphia Estate Planning Council, and Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce.  Born and raised in Philadelphia, Rich is married with two daughters and enjoys spending time with his family and playing ice hockey.
